Jennifer Y. Hyman
Director, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Y. Hyman co-founded Rent the Runway in November 2008 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since March 2009. Ms. Hyman previously served as the Chair of our Board of Directors from March 2009 to October 2025. Prior to co-founding Rent the Runway, she served as Director of Business at IMG, a global talent management company, from 2006 to 2007. Ms. Hyman also serves on the board of directors of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc., a global manufacturer and marketer of luxury beauty products. Ms. Hyman holds a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
